I am a keen breeder of horses (Welsh Cobs). I have spent 16 years working with Mental Health Patients in the NHS. Before training at The National Association of Chimney Sweeps. To become a fully qualified and accredited Chimney Sweep. This means that I am able to certificate all work carried out and you will be able to use this certificate as evidence for your insurance company, to prove that your chimney has been appropriately maintained.

I am based in beautiful Abergavenny, Monmouthshire. I strive towards offering a high quality Chimney Sweeping and Maintenance Service to homes within a 25 mile radius of my home.

I pride myself on achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and I am meticulous in ensuring your home is protected from dust and soot during the cleaning process. The same outcome is assured irrespective of whether your chimney has been swept regularly or not. I will ensure that all dust is contained and removed from your house with minimum disruption.

New Home Owner - Stove / Fireplace inspection package

This new service is designed for customers that have recently moved in to a new property, with a Stove or Open Fireplace and don’t have a Safety Certificate, to show that the appliance has been Swept & Safety Checked.

To include the following –

• A visual inspection of all accessible parts of the installation.

• A check of the accessible internal parts.

• A CCTV check.

• A full sweep of the flue/chimney.

• A full safety certificate.

• Advice on how best to use the stove, including what fuels are best to use etc.

If your appliance / installation is deemed to be unsafe and or does not meet current regulations, I will explain the reasons, offer advice to rectify and decline to carry out the sweep. This service will incur the full fee.
